**This course will provide the participant with 1.5 Ethics Learning Type BACB® CEUs**
Description of Learning Type CE Event: Many BCBA®s work in environments where ethical violations, such as excessive caseloads and practicing outside of scope, are not just possible but structurally reinforced. This course examines common violations of the BCBA® Ethics Code, the workplace conditions that make them likely, and practical strategies for staying ethical despite these pressures. We’ll discuss antecedent and consequence-based interventions to navigate dilemmas, as well as long-term strategies for maintaining ethical integrity. Lastly, we’ll explore the power dynamic in our field—why BCBA®s are the “prize” and how recognizing our leverage can help us set boundaries and advocate for better working conditions.
