Recorded: An OBM Approach to Improve the Quality of Parent Training

**This course will provide the participant with 1 General Learning Type BACB® CEUs**

Description of Learning Type CE Event: This course aims to relieve the stress of conducting caregiver training sessions by providing an in-depth guide on structuring these meetings using Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) techniques. For ABA services to be most effective for the client, we must rely on the parent’s ability to generalize skills into the home setting. By utilizing the behavior change strategies we already know and love, we will discuss how to use those same principles and apply them to changing the behavior of our client’s parents. The Performance Diagnostic Checklist will be used to understand barriers in the parents' ability to implement programming in the home and offer interventions to address these barriers.

About the Instructor: Lindsay has been in the field of ABA for over five years in various roles, including being a RBT®, Training and Program Specialist, Practice Manager, and BCBA®. With a degree in Organizational Behavior Management, she is passionate about disseminating the implications of OBM through the field to impact clients and employees positively. She primarily works with children on the autism spectrum in clinic-based settings as well as via telehealth. Additionally, she makes RBT® training content video packages and provides tutoring/supervision to RBT®s and individuals studying for or planning to take the BCBA® exam.

Target Audience: BCBA®s or other childcare providers participating in caregiver training.
