**This course will provide the participant with 1.5 General Learning Type BACB® CEU**
Description of Learning Type CE Event: This CEU is focused on behavioral strategies for teaching daytime toilet draining to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Azrin and Foxx’s (1971) protocol is used as a foundational approach, with a discussion of the relevance (and irrelevance) of specific original procedures today. You’ll learn about the history of toilet training research, factors for determining toileting readiness, and considerations for selecting modified versions of Azrin and Foxx based on your instructional setting and learner needs. As an introductory course, reinforcement and systematic instruction are emphasized in initial approaches to toilet training.
