Recorded: Neurodiversity Affirming Practices

**This course will provide the participant with 1 Learning Type BACB CEU**

In this course we will work to view and understand neurodiversity from a lens of acceptance, examining it as a whole and legitimate culture rather than a series of neurotypical deficits needing remediation. By reviewing outside research such as The Double Empathy Problem and looking at our own practices, we will identify how to develop affirming practices of support rooted in mutual reciprocity with our clients. As a field, we have come to a pivotal point in how we approach our work and how we view the people we are serving. To ensure continued growth and progress through self-reflective practices we must become comfortable identifying and addressing unconscious ableism in our own perceptions, language, and work.

Target Audience: Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts

To earn credit, you will be required to watch the recorded videos and pass a final quiz with a score of 80% or higher. You can retake the quiz as many times as needed, but you may not receive exactly the same questions each time.
