Description

Sleeping is one of the most important behaviors that all living beings engage in (and also happens to be one of my favorite things to do). Sleep affects every aspect of our lives including mental and physical health, learning, mood, behavior problems, and overall wellness. Many behavior analysts don’t realize that sleep problems are often behavior problems and are something that we can have a very real impact on in our practice. In this webinar, we will start by discussing why sleep is an important topic for behavior analysts to learn about and consider assessing and treating. Next, we will talk about how to analyze sleep as behavior, and the environmental factors that affect sleep. Once we understand how to look at the ways the environment impacts sleep problems, we will examine the four main causes of all sleep problems and how to fix them. Participants will also learn how to assess sleep problems, with a brief introduction to Dr. Hanley’s Sleep Assessment and Treatment Tool (SATT; 2005).

Target Audience: Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts

**This course will provide the participant with 2 Learning Type BACB® CEU**
