Description

The bundle provides the participant with access to the following 3 courses included and an opportunity to earn a total of 3.5 General Learning Type CEUs upon completion of the 3 separate courses!

Course 1 with Nicholas: Utilization of ACT methodology to assist with arousal-related sensory overload in Autistic clients #recorded (1 General CEU|~56 min)

Sensory overload is a common experience in Autistic humans’ lives, and feels incredibly uncomfortable, beyond the experiences common to being neurotypical, even when facing sensory discomforts. Add in, then, the powerful sensations correlated with sexual arousal, and there can be a recipe for disaster in some folx’s lives — traumatizing sexual experiences that result in avoidance of intimacy with partners, and sometimes even with the self. This 1-hour session is designed to help Behavior Analysts empathize further with Autistic clients experiencing sensory overload and to provide a clear method by which clients can be assisted in addressing such so they can more comfortably experience aspects of sex they express they want.

Course 2 with Nicholas: Get Out of Your Mind and Into Your Body: An ACT Approach to Sex #recorded (1 General CEU|~67 min)

Let’s be real, sex isn’t always super fun. Sex can be an anxiety-inducing event, one in which “what ifs” and expectation-setting (internal, private events) behaviors often impact tangible behaviors through sexual dysfunctions. Systemic shaping influences relational frames of sex, such as gender roles or scripts of what sex “should” look like, and this leads to people feeling immense amounts of pressure, frustration, shame and/or resentment when approaching intimacy with a partner. This session will look at a simple way by which behaviorally-sound methodology can reshape cognitive processes that result in tangible behavior changes: increased expression of desire/initiation; maintained erections; vaginal wetness; frequency of penetrative sex; orgasms. This one is for US as much as the clients we serve — don’t miss out on the sexiest advice ever in a CEU!

Course 3 with Katie (Dr. Saint): Using ACT to regulate and motivate #recorded (1.5 General CEU|~76 min)

Ever wanted something but just couldn’t motivate yourself?! This event is for you! Learn how to use ACT in your life or with clients to regulate and motivate. This CE event will go over each of the processes of ACT and how they are rooted in ABA. You will walk away with tools to address motivation and regulation. This training will equip you to fade contrived reinforcers into internal reinforcers such as values as well as teaching you how to overcome internal barriers to progress.
