Description

**This course will provide the participant with 3.5 General Learning Type BACB® CEUs**

Description of Learning Type CE Event: his course is for any behavior analyst who has noticed that our science doesn’t always fit easily into a classroom setting, and it’s often hard to get educator buy in. Classrooms and schools are full of variables outside of our control, large teams of adults working together, and sometimes a pessimistic view of behavior. Although this brings challenges, there is a huge market and opportunity to serve in schools using the science of ABA. This course teaches tangible, research based strategies to get all the adults in the room on your team, and get success in those classrooms. Learn to love this setting, and you can have a job where you never bill insurance or work another evening or holiday again.

Instructor Bio: Lani Lawson is passionate about coaching educators in how to get great school behavior. Lani was a self-contained classroom teacher for 5 years, and later pursued her BCBA. She took those new skills back to the schools to figure out the best ways to help educators be get better results. Her company is now trusted by over 40 school districts to provide behavioral services to their educators. Her goal is confident, happy educators who are optimistic about students who struggle with problem behavior.

Target Audience: Any BCBA or BCaBA who: works in and wants to be effective in the school setting; wants a challenge – the unique treatment design we get to do in this space is really fun; owns a business in the therapy space who would like to diversify streams of income.
